The Stomp SuperStomp 120R is one of the bikes that helped establish Stomp as a name in the pit-bike world.

Now updated with the SDG2 chassis, Detroit plastics, Stomp Race graphics and upgraded PRO footpegs, the SuperStomp 120R combines a punchy 119.6cc 4-stroke engine with a compact but serious pit-bike platform.

With a 4-speed manual gearbox, wet 3-disc clutch, 660mm USD forks, adjustable rear shock, hydraulic wavey disc brakes and 14”/12” wheels, the 120R has the specification you’d expect from a proper Stomp pit bike.

It’s compact enough to remain approachable, but with its 750mm seat height, 250mm ground clearance and 64kg dry weight, the 120R has the proportions and equipment to deliver plenty of off-road fun.

🔥 119.6cc YX120 4-Stroke Engine

At the heart of the SuperStomp 120R is the proven YX120 4-stroke engine, with a displacement of 119.6cc.

The engine is air-cooled and uses a SOHC 2-valve configuration.

Stomp lists maximum power at:

5.1kW @ 8,000rpm

and maximum torque at:

8.5Nm @ 5,000rpm

The engine is paired with a 22mm Nibbi carburettor, giving the 120R a straightforward mechanical setup that’s easy to understand and maintain.

The 120cc engine also gives the SuperStomp a useful step up from smaller 110cc pit bikes without moving into the considerably more powerful 140cc and 160cc machines.

⚙️ 4-Speed Manual Gearbox

The SuperStomp 120R uses a 4-speed manual gearbox with the following gear pattern:

1 → N → 2 → 3 → 4

The rider operates the wet 3-disc clutch from the handlebar and selects gears using the foot lever.

This gives the rider full control over the relationship between engine speed and gearing.

The manual transmission allows riders to:

• Select the correct gear for the terrain
• Change up through the gearbox
• Downshift when required
• Use engine braking
• Control engine speed
• Develop proper clutch and gear-changing technique

🕹️ Full Manual Control

The SuperStomp 120R is designed for riders who are ready for a proper manual pit bike.

If you’re moving up from an automatic or semi-automatic machine, the 120R provides the opportunity to develop full clutch control while keeping the overall bike relatively compact.

Its 120cc engine gives it more performance than an entry-level 110cc machine, while the 14”/12” chassis keeps the bike considerably more compact than the larger 17”/14” big-wheel bikes.

💥 660mm USD Front Forks

The front suspension uses 660mm USD forks.

The upside-down fork design gives the SuperStomp a proper performance-focused front end, while the 660mm length works with the compact 14”/12” chassis.

The USD forks are paired with the bike’s lightweight steel frame and SDG wheels to provide the front-end platform for off-road riding.

🔧 Adjustable Rear Shock

At the rear is a 270mm shock with adjustable preload.

The preload adjustment allows the rear suspension to be set according to rider weight and riding conditions.

The shock works with the 390mm steel swingarm and CRF70-style rear subframe to complete the SuperStomp’s compact chassis.

• The rider is suitably experienced for a 120cc manual dirt bike
• The bike is checked before every ride
• The vehicle is used responsibly and lawfully
• Permission is obtained from the landowner before riding on private land

Petrol vehicles include a 30-day replacement parts warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults only and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accident damage or maintenance-related issues. 

Warranty exclusions include:

• Chains, belts and split links
• Tyres, tubes and wheels
• Brake components
• Clutches and pull starts
• Fairings and bodywork
• Spark plugs and similar service items
• Other parts subject to normal wear and tear

Customers may be required to provide photographs/videos of faults and fit replacement parts themselves where appropriate.
