These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from CMW Bikes. By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
1. Important Safety Information
1.1 General Safety
All dirt bikes, quad bikes, scooters, go-karts and buggies supplied by CMW Bikes must be used responsibly and with appropriate safety equipment at all times.
The use of any powered vehicle carries an inherent risk of injury or death if used incorrectly, irresponsibly or without proper maintenance. Riders should always wear suitable protective equipment including helmets, gloves, suitable footwear and protective clothing.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that vehicles are operated safely and appropriately.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
1.2 Mechanical Knowledge & Maintenance
The products supplied by CMW Bikes are mechanical products that require routine maintenance, adjustment and mechanical understanding.
Customers should not purchase these products unless they understand the maintenance requirements associated with powered recreational vehicles.
Unless professional assembly has been selected, some assembly may be required upon delivery. Depending on the product purchased, this may include:
- Handlebars
- Wheels
- Footrests
- Batteries
- Controls or accessories
Customers are responsible for:
- Checking the vehicle before first use
- Carrying out regular maintenance and inspections
- Ensuring bolts, fittings, chains, brakes and controls remain secure and correctly adjusted
- Maintaining correct chain tension and lubrication
- Stopping use immediately if faults or unsafe conditions are identified

1.3 Off-Road Use
Unless specifically stated otherwise, vehicles sold by CMW Bikes are intended for off-road/private land use only and are not road legal for use on public highways.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any vehicle purchased is used lawfully and only where permitted.
Use of non-road-legal vehicles on public roads may result in prosecution, fines, penalty points, vehicle seizure or invalid insurance.
2. Definitions
- “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us” refers to CMW Bikes LTD.
- “Customer”, “you” or “your” refers to the purchaser of goods from us.
- “Website” refers to all websites and domains owned or operated by CMW Bikes LTD.
3. Prices & VAT
3.1 Pricing
All prices shown are in Pound Sterling (£ GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2 VAT Changes
If VAT rates change between the date of order and the date of delivery, we reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly where permitted by law.
4. Orders
4.1 Acceptance of Orders
A legally binding contract is formed only when your order has been accepted and processed for dispatch by us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch.
4.2 Order Methods

- Post
4.3 Payment Authorisation
All card payments are subject to authorisation and security checks by the payment provider.
If payment authorisation is refused, we will not be responsible for delays or non-delivery.
5. Availability & Dispatch
5.1 Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
5.2 Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Standard UK mainland delivery typically takes:
- Express Delivery: 1–3 working days
- Standard Delivery: 3–5 working days
Delivery to non-mainland or remote locations may take longer and may incur additional charges.
5.3 Pre-Delivery Inspection
Certain vehicles may undergo pre-delivery inspection, testing or assembly before dispatch.
Minor signs of testing, assembly marks or small amounts of fuel/oil residue may be present as part of this process.
6. Delivery
Customers should inspect goods upon delivery.
Any transit damage, missing items or incorrect deliveries should be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible with photographs where applicable.
We use independent courier and pallet delivery networks and cannot guarantee exact delivery times.
7. Returns & Cancellation Rights
7.1 Change of Mind Returns
Consumers have the right to cancel eligible online orders within 14 calendar days of receiving goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
To exercise this right, customers must notify us in writing within this period.
Returned goods must:
- Be unused and in original condition where reasonably possible
- Include original packaging and accessories
- Be returned securely packaged
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
7.2 Deductions for Use or Damage
We reserve the right to reduce refunds where goods show signs of excessive handling, use, damage, missing parts or deterioration beyond what would reasonably be expected when inspecting the product.
7.3 Faulty or Defective Goods
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.
8. Products
8.1 Product Images & Colours
We make every effort to display products accurately; however, colours and finishes may vary slightly due to screen settings and manufacturing variations.
8.2 Product Substitutions
Where necessary, we reserve the right to supply equivalent products of equal or greater value where exact products are unavailable.
Customers may cancel substitute items if unsuitable.
8.3 Recommended Age & Size Guidance
Any recommended age, height or sizing guidance is provided for general information only. Suitability remains the responsibility of the parent, guardian or owner.
9. Warranty
9.1 Warranty Period
Vehicles are supplied with a replacement parts warranty:
- 6 months for electrically powered vehicles
- 30 days for petrol-powered vehicles
Warranty periods begin from the date of delivery.
9.2 Warranty Claims
Customers must report faults promptly and provide:
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs and/or videos
- Proof of purchase
We may request additional information to assess warranty eligibility.
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, replacement parts will be supplied free of charge.
Customers are responsible for fitting replacement parts themselves or arranging fitting at their own expense. Technical guidance may be provided where reasonably possible.
9.3 Warranty Exclusions
The following are considered consumable, service or wear-and-tear items and are not covered against deterioration or damage arising through normal use, misuse, poor maintenance, incorrect adjustment or accidental damage:
- Chains, belts and split links
- Fairings and body panels
- Pull starts and starter cogs
- Clutches and clutch springs
- Brake cables, discs and callipers
- Exhaust systems
- Tyres, wheels, valves and inner tubes
- Spark plugs
- Batteries damaged through improper charging or storage
- Any similar wear-and-tear or serviceable components
Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Accidents or crashes
- Racing, jumping or stunt use
- Misuse or neglect
- Incorrect assembly
- Water ingress
- Modification or unauthorised alterations
- Failure to carry out routine maintenance
Transit damage to fairings or bodywork must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographs.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law
Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits or anticipated savings
- Loss arising from misuse, improper maintenance or unlawful use of products
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Fire
- Industrial disputes
- Supplier failures
- Transport disruption
- Government restrictions
12. Retention of Ownership
Goods remain the property of CMW Bikes LTD until paid for in full.
13. Complaints
Any complaints should be submitted directly to us by email.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and resolve issues as quickly as reasonably possible.
14. Privacy Policy
We process personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable UK data protection laws.
Personal data may be used for:
- Processing orders
- Customer support
- Fraud prevention
- Delivery services
- Marketing communications where consent or lawful basis exists
