The KLF Pro Racer 50cc is a compact petrol dirt bike designed to give younger riders a proper introduction to off-road riding.

Powered by a 49cc air-cooled 2-stroke engine with an automatic clutch, the Pro Racer keeps the controls straightforward while offering a genuine dirt-bike layout with front and rear suspension, disc brakes and knobbly off-road tyres.

With a claimed top speed of up to 24mph, a 65kg maximum rider weight and a 58cm seat height, it’s a great little machine for young riders who are ready to move beyond electric bikes and onto petrol.

🔥 49cc 2-Stroke Engine

The Pro Racer is powered by a 49cc single-cylinder, air-cooled 2-stroke engine.

It’s compact but gives the bike considerably more character than a basic electric children’s bike.

The 2-stroke engine requires a 25:1 petrol-to-2-stroke-oil mixture, so correct fuel preparation is important before use. 

⚙️ Automatic Clutch

The KLF Pro Racer uses an automatic clutch, keeping the drivetrain simple for younger riders.

There’s no manual clutch lever or conventional gear-changing procedure to learn.

The rider can concentrate on throttle control, steering and braking while getting used to riding a petrol dirt bike.

🚀 Up To 24MPH*

The Pro Racer has a claimed top speed of up to approximately 24mph.

Actual speed will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, conditions, vehicle setup and other factors, so the quoted figure should be treated as a guide rather than a guaranteed speed. 

🎛️ Adjustable Speed Restrictor

A useful feature for younger riders is the adjustable throttle screw.

The throttle can be restricted to approximately 5–8mph, allowing the bike to be introduced at a lower speed.

As the rider becomes more familiar with the bike, the restriction can be adjusted accordingly.

🔑 Easy Pull Start

The Pro Racer uses an upgraded alloy pull-start system.

This keeps the bike mechanically simple while providing an easy starting method for the 49cc engine.

🛑 Front & Rear Disc Brakes

The KLF Pro Racer is equipped with disc brakes at both the front and rear.

Having braking at both ends gives the rider control over the bike while riding on suitable off-road terrain.

Brake condition should always be checked before riding.

💥 Front & Rear Suspension

The Pro Racer features suspension at both ends:

Front: Aluminium front shock
Rear: Mono rear shock

The suspension system is designed to absorb bumps and uneven surfaces when riding off-road.

🛞 10” Off-Road Wheels

The bike uses 2.5-10” tyres front and rear.

The knobbly off-road tread is designed for suitable dirt, grass and private-land riding.

⛽ 1-Litre Fuel Tank

The Pro Racer has a 1-litre fuel tank.

Due to the compact size of the bike and its intended use, the tank keeps the overall package small while providing enough fuel for recreational riding.

Remember that this is a 2-stroke engine, so the correct petrol/oil mixture must be used.

Assembly Options

Boxed: Basic self assembly required

Fully assembled: Select the assembled option at checkout.

The current listing states that the bike is supplied part-assembled and that CMW’s trained mechanics can assemble it before dispatch. Assembly takes approximately 45 minutes. 

⚠️ Important Information – Off-Road Use

All vehicles supplied by CMW Bikes are intended for off-road/private-land use only unless specifically stated otherwise.

This is a mechanical petrol vehicle and requires regular maintenance, inspection and correct setup.

Please ensure:

• The correct 25:1 petrol-to-2-stroke-oil mixture is used
• Chain, brakes, tyres, bolts and controls are checked regularly
• Appropriate protective equipment is worn
• The throttle restrictor is correctly adjusted where required
• The rider is suitably experienced for the vehicle
• A responsible adult supervises younger riders
• Permission is obtained from the landowner before riding on private land

🛠️ Warranty Information

Petrol vehicles include a 30-day replacement parts warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults only and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accident damage or maintenance-related issues.

Warranty exclusions include:

• Chains, belts and split links
• Tyres, tubes and wheels
• Brake components
• Clutches and pull starts
• Fairings and bodywork
• Spark plugs and similar service items
• Other parts subject to normal wear and tear

Customers may be required to provide photographs/videos of faults and fit replacement parts themselves where appropriate.
