The KLF Mega Elite 50cc combines a compact four-wheel chassis with a 50cc 2-stroke petrol engine, automatic rev-and-go transmission and adjustable speed control.

It’s designed to give young riders the experience of a proper petrol-powered quad while keeping the controls simple — twist the throttle and go.

With front and rear adjustable suspension, a throttle restrictor, safety lanyard and CE certification, the Mega Elite is packed with features designed specifically around junior off-road riding.

🏁 50CC 2-STROKE PETROL POWER

The Mega Elite uses a 50cc, single-cylinder, 2-stroke, air-cooled petrol engine.

It’s a straightforward petrol engine designed around simplicity and ease of use.

Unlike a manual petrol quad, there’s no clutch or gears for the rider to operate.

The automatic transmission uses a simple rev-and-go system:

Twist the throttle → the quad moves.

⚙️ FULLY AUTOMATIC REV & GO

One of the biggest advantages of the Mega Elite for younger riders is the fully automatic transmission.

There’s no need to learn:

• Clutch control
• Manual gear changes
• Finding gears
• Coordinating clutch and throttle

The rider can concentrate on the fundamentals:

Throttle. Steering. Braking.

That makes it a straightforward introduction to petrol-powered off-road riding.

🔒 ADJUSTABLE THROTTLE RESTRICTOR

The Mega Elite features an adjustable throttle restrictor, allowing the maximum available throttle to be reduced.

The current specification states that the bike can be restricted to approximately 5–8mph, making it possible to introduce a new rider to the quad at a much more manageable speed. 

As the rider gains experience and confidence, the restriction can be adjusted accordingly.

🛑 SAFETY LANYARD

The Mega Elite is fitted with a safety lanyard designed to cut the engine if the rider becomes separated from the quad.

This is an important feature on a junior petrol quad and should be correctly attached to the rider whenever the vehicle is being used.

Always test the safety lanyard before riding.

⛽ 2-STROKE FUEL SYSTEM

The 50cc engine is a 2-stroke design and requires the correct 25:1 fuel/oil mixture.

IMPORTANT

Use the correct fuel/oil ratio specified for the engine.

Incorrect fuel mixing can cause poor running or engine damage.

Always allow the engine to cool appropriately and carry out maintenance in accordance with the supplied instructions.

🏁 ADJUSTABLE FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION

The Mega Elite features adjustable suspension at both the front and rear.

This helps the quad cope with bumps and uneven ground while allowing the suspension to be adjusted to suit the riding conditions.

It’s another feature that makes this a proper off-road quad rather than a basic children’s ride-on.

🛞 BUILT FOR OFF-ROAD RIDING

The four-wheel chassis provides a stable platform for younger riders, while the off-road tyres are designed for suitable private-land surfaces.

The Mega Elite is suited to appropriate terrain such as:

• Grass
• Dirt
• Compacted earth
• Off-road tracks
• Suitable uneven ground

Always match the terrain and speed to the rider’s experience and ability.

🔧 EASY PULL START

Starting the Mega Elite is simple with its easy pull-start system.

There’s no electric starter or complicated starting procedure to worry about.

Once the engine is correctly fuelled and the rider is ready, the quad can be started using the pull-start mechanism.

📏 RIDER SUITABILITY

The current specification gives a recommended primary age range of approximately 4–8 years and a maximum rider load of 80kg. 

However, age should only ever be treated as a guide.

Rider height, physical size, experience, confidence and ability to control the quad are all important when deciding whether it is suitable.

The rider should be able to comfortably reach the controls and maintain proper control of the vehicle.

For younger or inexperienced riders, the throttle restrictor should be used appropriately.

All vehicles supplied by CMW Bikes are intended for off-road/private land use only unless specifically stated otherwise.

The KLF Mega Elite is a petrol-powered quad and should only be ridden by someone who is appropriately sized, experienced and capable of controlling the vehicle.

Please ensure:

• Appropriate protective equipment is worn at all times
• The quad is checked before every ride
• Brakes, tyres, chain, steering, controls and fasteners are inspected regularly
• The correct 2-stroke fuel/oil mixture is used
• The safety lanyard is correctly attached and tested
• The rider is appropriately supervised where required
• The quad is used responsibly and lawfully

Never use the quad on public roads, pavements or other areas where its use is not legally permitted.

🛠️ WARRANTY INFORMATION

Petrol vehicles include a 30-day replacement parts warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults only and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accident damage or maintenance-related issues.

Warranty exclusions include:

• Chains, belts and split links
• Tyres, tubes and wheels
• Brake components
• Clutches and pull starts
• Fairings/bodywork
• Spark plugs and similar service items
• Other consumable or wear-and-tear components

Customers may be required to provide photographs/videos of faults and, where appropriate, fit replacement parts themselves. Technical guidance can be provided.
