Looking for a proper electric quad for a young rider?

The KLF Elite 1000W combines a 36V 1000W electric motor with a sturdy four-wheel chassis, adjustable speed settings, suspension and proper off-road tyres.

With forward, neutral and reverse, electric twist-grip throttle, working LED headlights and a horn, it’s packed with the features you’d expect from a proper junior quad.

The KLF Elite is designed for private-land off-road riding and offers a great step up from basic ride-on electric toys.

🏁 1000W ELECTRIC POWER

The KLF Elite is powered by a 36V 1000W electric motor, giving it plenty of performance for a compact quad.

The motor drives through a chain-drive transmission, providing direct and responsive acceleration without the need for conventional gears or a clutch.

Three speed settings allow the rider to start at a more manageable speed before progressing as their confidence and ability develop.

🎛️ THREE SPEED SETTINGS

The KLF Elite features Low, Medium and High speed settings.

This is particularly useful for younger riders who are still getting used to:

• Throttle control
• Steering
• Braking
• Acceleration
• The size and weight of a quad

Start low, build confidence and increase the speed only when the rider is ready.

The current specification quotes approximately 7–12mph in low, 12–17mph in medium and up to around 23mph in high, although actual speed will vary with rider weight, terrain and battery condition. 

🔋 36V 12Ah BATTERY

The KLF Elite uses a 36V 12Ah lead-acid battery.

The current specification gives a range of approximately 28km / 17 miles per charge. 

As with any electric vehicle, real-world range depends heavily on:

• Rider weight
• Speed setting
• Terrain
• Hills
• Riding style
• Temperature
• Battery condition

Riding constantly at maximum speed or on rough/soft ground will reduce the available range.

🛞 PROPER OFF-ROAD TYRES

The KLF Elite uses rubber off-road tyres, giving it the traction needed for suitable private-land surfaces.

The four-wheel layout also provides a stable platform while the knobbly tread helps the quad find grip on surfaces such as:

• Grass
• Dirt
• Compacted earth
• Trails
• Suitable uneven ground

🏁 FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION

The KLF Elite isn’t simply a rigid ride-on quad.

It features front and rear suspension to help absorb bumps and uneven ground while riding off-road.

That gives the quad a more capable chassis for proper trail and private-land riding. 

🛑 FRONT & REAR BRAKING

The KLF Elite is equipped with front and rear brakes, providing braking control at both ends of the quad.

As with any powered off-road vehicle, brakes should be checked before every ride and maintained correctly.

↔️ FORWARD, NEUTRAL & REVERSE

The simple forward / neutral / reverse selector makes the KLF Elite straightforward to operate.

Reverse is particularly useful for manoeuvring the quad when parking or getting into position before riding.

Combined with the electric twist-grip throttle, the controls are simple for a young rider to understand.

💡 LED HEADLIGHTS & HORN

The KLF Elite comes equipped with bright LED headlights and a horn.

The headlights add to the proper quad-bike feel and can improve visibility in suitable lower-light conditions on private land.

The horn gives the rider an extra bit of fun — because let’s be honest, kids love a horn. 😂

📏 RIDER SUITABILITY

The current specification recommends the KLF Elite for children of approximately 4–10 years old. 

However, age should only ever be treated as a guide.

Rider height, size, experience, confidence and ability to control the quad are all important when deciding whether it is suitable.

The rider should be able to comfortably reach the controls and maintain proper control of the quad before riding.

All vehicles supplied by CMW Bikes are intended for off-road/private land use only unless specifically stated otherwise.

The KLF Elite is a powered electric quad and should only be ridden by someone who is appropriately sized, experienced and capable of controlling the vehicle.

Please ensure:

• Appropriate protective equipment is worn at all times
• The quad is checked before every ride
• Brakes, tyres, chain, steering, controls and fasteners are inspected regularly
• The battery and electrical system are maintained correctly
• The rider is appropriately supervised where required
• The quad is used responsibly and lawfully

Never use the quad on public roads, pavements or other areas where its use is not legally permitted.

🛠️ WARRANTY INFORMATION

Electric vehicles include a 6-month replacement parts warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults only and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accident damage or maintenance-related issues.

Warranty exclusions include:

• Chains, belts and split links
• Tyres, tubes and wheels
• Brake components
• Fairings/bodywork
• Other consumable or wear-and-tear components

Customers may be required to provide photographs/videos of faults and, where appropriate, fit replacement parts themselves. Technical guidance can be provided.
